1. Publisher and hosting

EventStock is published by Inkat Studio, a French micro-enterprise (sole proprietorship), 8B Avenue Anatole France, 94600 Choisy-le-Roi, France. Contact: mosifoto@gmail.com.

The website and web app are hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. Service data is hosted by Google Cloud (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

2. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to and use of EventStock: the Android app and the web app (eventstock.app/app), together "the Service".

You accept them by ticking the box provided when you sign up, or on the acceptance screen shown to existing accounts. The date and version accepted are recorded. Without this acceptance, the Service is not available.

3. Definitions

"User": anyone holding an account. "Organisation": the shared space in which users manage the same inventory. "Administrator": the user who manages an organisation's members. "Content": all information and photos entered in the Service.

4. Description of and access to the Service

EventStock lets you manage an equipment inventory: items, containers and locations, loans and returns, events and their equipment lists, code scanning, loan reminders.

The Service requires a compatible Android device or a recent browser, an internet connection for syncing, and an account linked to a valid email address. Access may be restricted until that address is confirmed. Organisations are created from the Android app.

5. Price

The Service is currently free. If paid plans are offered, you will be informed in advance; their terms (price, duration, cancellation) will be presented and must be accepted before any subscription.

6. Account

You must be at least 15 years old and provide accurate information. An account is personal: you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for actions carried out from your account. Report any unauthorised use without delay to mosifoto@gmail.com.

An account belongs to a single organisation.

7. Organisations and roles

Whoever creates an organisation becomes its administrator. An organisation's name is unique within the Service and cannot be changed after creation.

A new member remains pending until an administrator approves them. Roles (administrator, coordinator, technician) determine what each person can view and change.

Administrators are responsible for managing their organisation's members (approval, roles, removal) and for the Content it records.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service in accordance with the law and these terms. In particular, the following are prohibited: publishing unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others; any attempt to access another organisation's data or to bypass security rules; any action that disrupts the Service (deliberate overload, automated extraction); reselling the Service or making it available to third parties.

9. Your Content

You retain all rights to your Content. You authorise the publisher to host, reproduce and display it to members of your organisation, solely to the extent needed to operate the Service.

You are responsible for your Content and for your right to use it. If you record information about people without an account (a borrower, for example), you agree to comply with data protection law towards them.

10. Availability and changes

The publisher strives to keep the Service available at all times but cannot guarantee it: interruptions may occur, particularly for maintenance. The Android app remains partly usable offline and syncs when the connection returns.

The Service may evolve: features may be added, changed or removed. If the Service is permanently discontinued, you will be informed at least 30 days in advance.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, its name, logos, design and code are the property of the publisher. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for as long as you are registered. Any unauthorised reproduction, decompilation or exploitation is prohibited, except where permitted by law.

12. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". The publisher does not guarantee that it will be error-free or meet all your needs. Inventory information remains under your control: it is up to you to check your equipment and to keep your own copies of essential information.

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damage (loss of equipment, revenue or data, harm arising from a decision based on the Service).

Nothing in these terms excludes the publisher's liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or deprives a consumer of the rights granted by mandatory provisions of law.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete my account). What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy.

If these terms are breached, the publisher may suspend or delete an account after informing you, except in the case of a serious breach or an emergency (a threat to the security of the Service or to other organisations' data).

14. Changes to these terms

The publisher may change these terms. A substantial change is presented to you in the app and must be accepted to keep using the Service; if you refuse it, you can delete your account. Minor changes (corrections, clarifications) apply as soon as they are published.

15. Personal data

The processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If a problem arises, please first write to mosifoto@gmail.com so that an amicable solution can be sought.

Failing agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence and keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of your country.

17. General provisions

If any clause is held invalid, the others remain in force. Failure to enforce a clause does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

These terms are available in French, English and Chinese. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
